The Boykos or Boikos (; ; ; ), or simply Highlanders (; ), are an ethnolinguistic group located in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland. Along with the neighbouring Lemkos and Hutsuls, the Boykos are considered a sub-group of Rusyns and speak a distinct East Slavic dialect. Within Ukraine, the Boykos and other Rusyns are seen as a sub-group of ethnic Ukrainians. Boykos differ from their neighbors in dialect, dress, folk architecture, and customs.

Bojken (ukrainisch бойки bojky, polnisch Bojkowie, slowakisch Pujďáci) heißen die Angehörigen einer in den Waldkarpaten lebenden Gruppe von Russinen. Sie leben hauptsächlich in Ostpolen in den Kreisen Lesko und Ustrzyki Dolne im südöstlichen Polen sowie in der Westukraine und sprechen einen russinischen Dialekt mit slowakischen Einflüssen. In der Ukraine werden sie zu den Ukrainern gezählt. Im Brockhaus-Konversationslexikon von 1894 heißt es zum Siedlungsgebiet der Bojken: „Die in den galizischen Karpaten wohnenden ruthenischen Gebirgsbewohner von den Quellen des San bis zur Lomnica werden Bojken […] genannt.“
