Am 1.4.1972 folgte die Eingliederung der Gemeinde Michelau , am 1.8.1972 die der Gemeinden Düdelsheim und Wolferborn (Kreis Gelnhausen). Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung ist Büdingen.
