córtex cerebral
Sign in to saveouter layer of neural tissue of the cerebrum of the brain
The cerebral cortex is the thin outer layer of the brain that covers the main part of the brain called the cerebrum. It's important because this outer layer is where much of the brain's processing happens, enabling functions like thinking, memory, and conscious awareness.
