The cerebrum is the largest part of your brain, made up of two hemispheres and containing structures like the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and basal ganglia that handle most of your thinking, memory, and movement. It matters because it's responsible for your conscious thoughts, learning, and ability to control your actions—essentially what makes you able to think, remember, and interact with the world.
