Czech Television (Czech: Česká televize [ˈtʃɛskaː ˈtɛlɛvɪzɛ]; abbreviation: ČT) is a public television broadcaster in the Czech Republic that currently broadcasts six channels. Established after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992, it succeeded Czechoslovak Television (CST or ČST) which was founded in 1953.
