La Colt Automatic Rifle-15 Military Weapons System (o CAR-15) era una famiglia di armi da fuoco basate sull'ArmaLite AR-15/M16 e prodotte dalla Colt's Manufacturing Company nei tardi anni sessanta e inizio anni settanta del XX secolo. Anche se tecnicamente la CAR-15 è una famiglia di armi che va dalla carabina al fucile mitragliatore, il nome è genericamente usato per indicare tutte le versioni in carabina dell'AR-15/M16, anche se questo non è il suo nome ufficiale.
