コマモナス属
Sign in to saveComamonas is a genus of bacteria in the phylum Pseudomonadota. Like all Pseudomonadota, they are Gram-negative bacteria. Comamonas species are aerobic organisms and motile using bipolar or polar tufts of one to five flagella. Comamonas testosteroni and Comamonas kerstersii have been found to cause infections in people.

コマモナス属はコマモナス科の基準属でグラム陰性非芽胞形成偏性好気性桿菌で極鞭毛を1から5本持ち運動する。発酵はしない。名前は髪の毛の個体を意味する。基準種はコマモナス・テリゲナでGC含量は61から67。 土壌や水中に幅広く存在する。かつてシュードモナス属に属していた菌が遺伝子の系統解析により再分類されて新たに設けられた属である。また本属に属していたデルフチア・アシドボランスが再分類され、デルフチア属が設けられた。
