organisation d'entraide économique entre différents pays communistes
COMECON was an economic organization led by the Soviet Union from 1949 to 1991 that brought together Eastern Bloc countries and other communist nations to coordinate their economies. It mattered because it was the Soviet-led counterpart to Western economic alliances, shaping trade and economic ties among communist countries during the Cold War.
