Find out about our products: Copersucar is the world's leading sugar trading company and our sugar helps feed 500 million people a year in more than 70 countries. Raw crystal sugar: unrefined product, with crystals covered by a thin layer of molasses. Sold mainly to refineries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Main types of raw sugar: VHP (Very High Polarization) and VVHP (Very Very High Polarization). In the domestic market, Copersucar supplies sugar to large food industries, mainly in the beverage sector. Sugar is also a raw material for fermentative processes in the production of products such as lysine, monosodium glutamate and citric acid. Cooperativa de Produtores de Cana-de-Açúcar, Açúcar e Álcool do Estado de São Paulo was founded. At the time, it had only ten São Paulo production units and two regional cooperative entities: Coopira and Coopereste. At the end of 2022, we launched a project to rethink Copersucar’s brand positioning and vision for the future, in line with our strategic objectives.
