In der Mathematik versteht man unter einer kubischen Funktion eine ganzrationale Funktion 3. Grades, also eine Funktion auf den reellen Zahlen, die in der Form mit und geschrieben werden kann. Kubische Funktionen können als reelle Polynomfunktionen von Polynomen über aufgefasst werden.
