==Heavy Neolithic site of the Qaraoun culture== There is a Heavy Neolithic archaeological site of the Qaraoun culture located northwest of the village where plentiful Heavy Neolithic flint adzes, axes, debitage and waste material were found along with large amounts of Paleolithic materials.
