Dave Rude (born June 14, 1978 in Oakland, California) is the guitarist of hard rock band Tesla. He also fronts his own rock act Dave Rude Band, where he sings and plays guitar. Dave started playing guitar at 9 years of age and grew up near Berkeley California. His main musical influences are Guns N' Roses, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Perry, Mike Campbell, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
