is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The manga focuses on a high school student named Akira Fudo who absorbs the powers of the demon called "Amon" with help of his friend Ryo Asuka in order to battle creatures hidden in human society, thus calling himself the "Devilman" in the process. The series was originally ordered by Toei Animation as a toned-down anime version of Nagai's previous manga series, Demon Lord Dante, although Devilman ended up having a darker tone which reflected Nagai's anti-war sentiments.

Devilman (デビルマン Debiruman?) é um mangá japonês escrito e ilustrado por Go Nagai, que originalmente começou como uma adaptação em anime do conceito do mangá anterior de Nagai, . O 39.º episódio de Devilman foi desenvolvido pela Toei Animation em 1972, enquanto Nagai começou o Devilman como mangá na Weekly Shōnen Magazine, da Kodansha, apenas um mês antes do início do anime. Desde então, a série gerou inúmeros OVAs, um mangá, novelas e filmes. Devilman e outros personagens da série apareceram em aparições várias vezes nos outros trabalhos de Go Nagai. O mais notável é o longa-metragem de , de 1973, , que apresenta Devilman se unindo ao robô titular de Nagai para combater o Dr. Hell.
