Святая Тавифа (Табита; арам. טביתא; Ṭabītā; Ταβιθά; Tabitha; «серна»), также Доркас (др.-греч. Δορκάς, Dorkás; «газель») — новозаветный библейский персонаж; христианка в Иоппии (ныне Яффа), была известна своим трудолюбием и благотворительностью. Умерев после болезни, была оживлена апостолом Петром. Свершённое им чудо имело большое влияние на жителей Иоппии: многие из них уверовали во Христа (Деян. 9:36—43). В Западной Европе с 1834 года организовывались общины её имени — «», объединявшие церковных прихожан, которые — по примеру Тавифы (Доркас) — занимались раздачей одежды нуждавшимся.
