== Name == They are mentioned as Aulerci Eburovices by Caesar (mid-1st c. BC), Aulerci qui cognominantur Eburovices by Pliny (1st c. AD), and as Au̓lírkioioi̔ E̓bourouikoì (Αὐλίρκιοιοἱ Ἐβουρουικοὶ) by Ptolemy (2nd c. AD).
