Born in Yerevan in 1971 Mr. Topchjan has had an excellent music education in Armenian music colleges and the conservatory where music traditionally continues to be a strong field of pedagogy. His basic study was in violin, but as Mr. Topchjan expressed interest in conducting, he began taking classes from eminent Armenian conductor Maestro Ohan Durian.
