Erasmus Lapicida ( b ?1440-45; d Vienna, 19 Nov 1547). Composer. He was a singer in the Elector Ludwig V's court chapel in Heidelberg (1510-21) and was later connected with the Habsburgs and with the Archduke Ferdinand of Austria, settling in Viennac 1520. His works, in numerous styles, include seven Latin motets and some excellent polyphonic adaptations of German folksongs and Hofweisen, whose frottola-like traits suggest Italian influence. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Erasmus+Lapicida">R
