Protozoans of this order include parasites of humans, and both domesticated and wild animals including birds. Among these parasites are the Toxoplasma gondii that cause toxoplasmosis and Isospora belli, which results in isosporiasis.

真球蟲目（學名：Eucoccidiorida），是頂複門类锥体綱球蟲亞綱之下的一個目，是一種單細胞的微小成胞的寄生物種。本目的原生物種可寄生在人體、家畜、家禽及野生動物的體內。當中包括有可引起弓蟲病的弓形蟲及可引起等孢球蟲病的貝氏等孢球蟲（Isospora belli）。
