Antoine Caliste Domino Jr. (February 26, 1928 – October 24, 2017), known as Fats Domino, was an American singer-songwriter and pianist. He was one of the early figures in the development of rock and roll and sold more than 65 million records during his career. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to a French Creole family, Domino signed with Imperial Records in 1949.
