In July 2007, Nikolay established Geometer Plus LLC, the first company behind FBReader, in St.Petersburg, Russia. The company ceased operations following the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. In 2013, Nikolay relocated to the United Kingdom and founded FBReader.ORG Limited. This company currently develops and supports FBReader.
