Fernando de Almeida (Lisbon, 1603/04 — Tomar, 26 April 1660) was a Portuguese Baroque composer. Fernando de Almeida was born in Lisbon in 1603 or 1604. He was the son of António Jorge, a Brigantine tailor, and Maria Lopes, a Lisboner . Both were Old Christians . He was baptized at the Church of Santa Justa in the same city.
