Die Hauptrollen spielen Nelly Frijda, Coen van Vrijberghe de Coningh und Stefan de Walle. Der Film stellt dabei keine Fortsetzung der beiden ersten Teile Flodder – Eine Familie zum Knutschen und Flodder – Eine Familie zum Knutschen in Manhattan dar und ist als eigener Film zu betrachten.
