Fluvanna County is a United States county centrally located in the Piedmont region of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Part of the Charlottesville Metropolitan Statistical Area, Fluvanna's population, as of the 2020 census, was 27,249. The county seat is Palmyra, while the most populous community is the census designated place of Lake Monticello.

History
