Gjorge Ivanov

Gjorge Ivanov is a male politician, university teacher, editor, and political scientist from North Macedonia. Born in Valandovo in 1960, he is a member of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization – Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity. He served as the President of North Macedonia and was a candidate in the 2009 Macedonian presidential election.

Ivanov is educated at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, where he is also employed. His professional career includes work at Macedonian Radio-television. He has authored five works and adheres to Eastern Orthodoxy. His native name is written as Ѓорге Иванов.
