Gods Eater Burst is an action role-playing game and an enhanced version of God Eater. The enhanced version features an expanded story and new game mechanics. The game's mission-based single-player mode consists of more than 100 missions, with co-operative play of up to three teammates over local adhoc wireless multiplayer or AI-controlled teammates. The game features character creation, allowing customization of hairstyle, hair color, face, skin, clothing, voice and weapons using special materials. God Eater (ゴッドイーター バースト Goddo Ītā?) è un videogioco di genere action RPG sviluppato dalla e pubblicato da Bandai Namco Holdings il 4 febbraio 2010 esclusivamente in Giappone. Verrà poi pubblicata una versione con tutti i DLC chiamata God Eater Burst (ゴッドイーター バースト Goddo Ītā Bāsuto?) il 28 febbraio dello stesso anno; e che arriverà anche in occidente per la prima volta dal 15 marzo del 2011 pubblicato da D3 Publisher. Un sequel, God Eater 2, è uscito in Giappone nel novembre 2013. Una serie anime basata sul videogioco è stata pubblicata da Ufotable nel 2015. Il 29 ottobre del 2015 è uscita in Giappone una rimasterizzazione del gioco per PlayStation 4 e PlayStation Vita con il nome di God Eater Resurrection (ゴッドイーター リザレクション Goddo Ītā Rizarekushon?). Uscirà anche in occidente dal 28 giugno del 2016, ma solo in America e dal 30 agosto in Europa, che includerà anche la versione per Microsoft Windows.
