Hanne Krogh, born in 1956 in Haugesund, is among the most popular Norwegian singers. She recorded her first album in 1970 at the age of 14. The following year she qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest, earning a second-to-last place in the competition. 14 years later, in 1985, she won the contest as part of the pop duo Bobbysocks. In later years she has been touring Norway's churches around Christmas time, singing carols and other Holiday-themed songs together with local choirs. <a href="ht
