Le HMS E23 était un sous-marin britannique de classe E construit pour la Royal Navy par Vickers à Barrow-in-Furness. Sa quille fut posée le 28 septembre 1914 et il fut mis en service le 6 décembre 1915. Le E23 torpille le dreadnought allemand SMS Westfalen (18 900 tonnes), au large de Terschelling le 19 août 1916 et l'endommage sans le couler. Le E23 a été vendu le 6 septembre 1922 à Sunderland.
