Hovorčovice is a municipality and village in Prague-East District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,600 inhabitants.
==Etymology== The name is derived from the personal name Hovořic or Hovora, meaning "the village of Hovořic's (Hovora's) people". The term hovora, from which the personal name arose, used to denote a person who talked a lot.
