Eine Hyperboloidkonstruktion ist ein Fachwerk oder Tragwerk in Form eines Rotationshyperboloids. Ihre äußere Hülle wird gitterartig aus ein oder zwei Scharen von geraden Elementen gebildet. Trotz der freien Form sind keine gekrümmten Bauteile erforderlich. Selbst hohe Hyperboloidtürme haben minimalen Windwiderstand.
