iPadOS ist ein Betriebssystem, das seit 2019 bei Apples eigenen iPad-Tabletcomputern zum Einsatz kommt. Es wurde auf der Worldwide Developers Conference am 3. Juni 2019 zum ersten Mal öffentlich vorgestellt. Mit der Einführung von iPadOS verwenden iPads nun nicht mehr iOS, dennoch ist das Betriebssystem daran angelehnt. Durch iPadOS kann Apple dem iPad nun mehr iPad-spezifische Features geben und die Bedingungen getrennt an die jeweilige Hardware anpassen.
