الحرب الأهلية الأيرلندية (بالإنجليزية: Irish Civil War) (بالأيرلندية:Cogadh Cathartha na hÉireann)،هي حرباً صاحبت تأسيس[؟] الدولة الحرة الأيرلندية ككيان مستقل عن المملكة المتحدة ضمن الإمبراطورية البريطانية. وقد دارت رحاها بين المؤيدين والمعارضين للمعاهدة الإنكليزية الأيرلندية (ديسمبر 1921) التي أبرمت بين إنجلترا وأيرلندا. وامتدت الحرب من يونيو 1922م حتى مايو 1923م. وكسبت قوات الحكومة المؤيدة للمعاهدة الحرب، مع مساندة غالبية الشعب الأيرلندي. ووطد نصرها بقاء الديمقراطية البرلمانية، وأزال خطر الحكم العسكري المستبد الذي كانت تفضله بعض القوات المعارضة للاتفاقية. وقد تركت الحرب الأهلية ذكريات مريرة في النفوس أثرت في السياسة الحزبية الأيرلندية منذ ذلك الوقت.
