American soldier and statesman (1757–1825)
James Wilkinson is best known internationally for his work in Europe and Australasia with the Celtic band Rua. At home in New Zealand, he is a familiar figur with his solo guitar performances. His exploration or the melodic and interpretive limits of the guitar has led him to create a wealth of alternative tunings and techniques that is an integral part of his unique and remarkable guitar style. James also plays Fretless bass, and is known for his unique songwriting and singing. <a href="https
