Jan Hanuš (May 2nd, 1915, Prague - July 30th, 2004) was a Czech composer of modern a contemporary classical music. In his composer's work Jan Hanus is following up with the Czech Smetana and Dvořák tradition in the traces of his teacher Otakar Jeremiáš.
