Jens Laursøn Emborg (1876-1957) was a Danish composer. He studied composition, violin and organ as a private pupil of Otto Malling and Valdemar Tofte in Copenhagen. In 1912, he was studying in Dresden and Munich and in 1926 he traveled to the Anckerske scholarship to France, Italy and Germany. He was one of the 1900s most prolific composers with more than 100 opus as well as numerous youthful works the composer himself burned in 1905.
