Johann August Just (b Gröningen, c 1750; d The Hague, Dec 1791). German keyboard player and composer. A music master at the Prince of Orange's court, he wrote pedagogical keyboard sonatas and divertimentos etc (some with violin), specifying the harpsichord rather than the piano. Jan August ou Johann August Just, vraisemblablement né vers 1750 à Gröningen près de Magdebourg et décédé en décembre 1791 à La Haye, est un professeur de musique, un virtuose du clavier, un violoniste et un compositeur de la fin du XVIIIe siècle, actif en Prusse, dans la République des Sept Pays-Bas-Unis et, peut-être, à Londres.
