Josef Lhévinne, född 13 december 1874 i Orjol, död 2 december 1944, var en amerikansk pianist av rysk börd. Lhévinne var elev till Vasilij Safonov och 1902–1906 lärare vid Moskvas konservatorium och senare vid Juilliard School of Music i New York. Josef Lhévinne (December 13, 1874 – December 2, 1944) was a Russian pianist and piano teacher. He was born into a family of musicians in Orel and studied at the Imperial Conservatory in Moscow under Vasily Ilyich Safonov. His public debut came at the age of 14 with Ludwig van Beethoven's Emperor Concerto in a performance conducted by his musical hero Anton Rubinstein. He graduated at the top of a class which included both Sergei Rachmaninoff and Alexander Scriabin, winning the Gold Medal for pi
