Józef Nowakowski (born 16th September 1800 in Koryciska, died 27th August 1865 in Warsaw) was a Polish composer, pianist and teacher from Romantic Era, friend of Fryderyk Chopin. He composed mainly piano works (etudes, waltzes, mazurkas) and songs for voice and piano.
