Kaatedocus
Sign in to saveKaatedocus is a genus of flagellicaudatan sauropod known from the middle Late Jurassic (Kimmeridgian stage) of northern Wyoming, United States. It is known from well-preserved skull and cervical vertebrae which were collected in the lower part of the Morrison Formation. The type and only species is Kaatedocus siberi, described in 2012 by Emanuel Tschopp and Octávio Mateus.

Kaatedocus (il cui nome è l'unione del suffisso diminutivo crow Kaate e il nome del genere affine Diplodocus) è un genere estinto di dinosauro sauropode diplodocide vissuto nel Giurassico superiore, circa 155 milioni di anni fa (Kimmeridgiano), in quella che è oggi la Formazione Morrison (Nordamerica). La specie tipo è Kaatedocus siberi, descritta da Tschopp e Mateus nel 2012 sulla base di un cranio ben conservato e alcune vertebre cervicali.
