Kevin Manthei (born 1970 in Maplewood, Minnesota) is an American composer for film, television, and video games. Manthei is well known for his work on Invader Zim which resulted in Manthei receiving an Annie Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Music for an animated series. Invader Zim also led to Manthei later composting music for Xiaolin Showdown, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Johnny Test's first season, Generator Rex, Robot Chicken, Villainous, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ultimate Spider
