Kharp (; ) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in the Priuralsky District of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia, on the bank of the Sob River near the Polar Urals. Population:
==Geography and features== The nearest major settlement is Salekhard, roughly 45 kilometres (28 miles) away. Kharp is the location of prison/penal colonies IK-18 Polar Owl and IK-3 Polar Wolf, two of Russia’s northernmost prisons.
