Kirill Gerstein (Russian: Кирилл Герштейн) (born 23 October 1979) is a Jewish-American and Russian pianist. He is the sixth recipient of the Gilmore Artist Award.[1] An American citizen since 2003, Gerstein divides his time between the United States and Germany and is currently a professor of piano at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart.[2][3] Gerstein was born in Voronezh in the Soviet Union and began playing the piano at age three.[4] At the age of 11 <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Kirill+Gerste
