== Geography == Kupava is located in steppe, on the Khopyorsko-Buzulukskaya Plain, on the bank of the Kupava River, 46 km northeast of Novonikolayevsky (the district's administrative centre) by road. Krasnoarmeysky is the nearest rural locality.
