Lazdijai (, ) is a city (miestas) in Lithuania located about east of the border with Poland.
==History== It was established by Sigismund II Augustus in 1570 and granted Magdeburg town rights by Sigismund III Vasa in 1587. A local parish church was founded at the time. In 1689 John III Sobieski allowed the settlement of Jews.
