Lightnin' Slim (Otis V. Hicks, St. Louis, Missouri, March 13, 1913 - Detroit, Michigan, July 27, 1974) was an African-American Louisiana blues musician, who recorded for Excello Records, often collaborating with his brother-in-law, Slim Harpo and with harmonica player Lazy Lester. Lightnin' Slim moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of thirteen.
