Louis de Vries (Vianen, 6th January 1905 - Zwolle, 5th September 1935) was one of the original members of the Dutch jazz band The Ramblers which was formed in Amsterdam in 1926. He played the trumpet and sang. Late in November 1934, while in the Netherlands, fellow trumpeter and vocalist Louis Armstrong visited Louis de Vries and his brother Jack de Vries after hearing a recording of them playing to see them play in person. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Louis+de+Vries">Read more on Last.fm<
