Ludwig Daser (born around 1526 in Munich; died March 27, 1589 in Stuttgart) was a German Kapellmeister and composer. Ludwig Daser was educated in the Munich court choir and in 1552 received the position of Kapellmeister. When he converted to Protestantism, he lost this position to Orlando di Lasso and was forced to leave Munich. Since Duke Christoph von Württemberg was one of the leaders of Protestantism at the time, he found employment at the court orchestra in Stuttgart <a href="https://www.
