Marius Borg Høiby is a relative of the Norwegian royal family and the eldest child of Mette‑Marit, Crown Princess of Norway. He became the stepson of Crown Prince Haakon when his mother married the Crown Prince in 2001. Although he has appeared with the royal family on several occasions, he holds no royal titles, succession rights, or official public duties.
