Encyclopedic overview
Marmora is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southwest of Turin and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 97 and an area of 41.2 square kilometres (15.9 mi).
The municipality of Marmora contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Tolosano, Torello, Garino, Urzio, Arvaglia, Arata, Reinero, Finello, S. Sebastiano, and Vernetti.
