Mélanie Pain is mostly known for being the female vocalist in Villeneuve and for being the most prominent singer in Nouvelle Vague. While growing up (and studying politic science) in Aix-en-Provence, Southern France, Mélanie Pain got hooked on Pj Harvey, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Nick Drake... Once in Paris, she spends her days in a design agency and her nights singing for electro and pop music projects. It is with Villeneuve’s album that Mélanie found her right voice. <a href="https://www.last.fm/m
