Mickael "Mick" Gordon Thomson, sometimes known as #7, is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist for the band Slipknot. Thomson joined Slipknot in 1996, replacing Craig Jones,[1] who then became the band's sampler. Before Slipknot, Mick was in the band Bodypit with former Slipknot members Anders Colsefini, Donnie Steele and the late Paul Gray.
